Meet the Alumni Executive!
Members of the Alumni Executive are elected by the EYPUK Alumni Association to fulfil a term of one year as part of the EYPUK Committee. They liaise with the wider alumni community and run regional sessions, plan upcoming EurVoice events, facilitate and prepare social events and lots more besides. They work closely with the Board of Trustees, with the President leading the Alumni Executive and reporting to the Board of Trustees during Committee meetings.
Hi! I’m Emily and I’m in my first year of studying Experimental Psychology at Oxford University. Having spent last year as Regional Forum Coordinator and Autumn National Session Head Organiser, I am really excited to build on last year’s successes and to get to work with this fantastic team! (Emily.Long@eypuk.co.uk)
Hi, I’m Jago and I’m the Alumni Development Officer for EYPUK. I have attended over 30 sessions all across Europe from Ireland to Armenia; the opportunities this organisation has given me have been truly formative and I’m dedicated – within the framework of my role – to provide the same kind of opportunities for as many of our members as possible. (Jago.Lynch@eypuk.co.uk).
Jodi Beauchamp – EurVoice Co-ordinator
Hi I’m Jodi, a first year International Relations student at the University of Essex and your EurVoice Co-ordinator for 2017. I’ve spent just over a year with EYPUK now and in that time I have contributed to a number of Regional, National, International and small scale sessions and events whilst also travelling abroad to countries such as Germany, Ireland and The Netherlands. I’m so excited for the upcoming year and can’t wait to strengthen EYPUK’s involvement, education and outreach. (Jodi.Beauchamp@eypuk.co.uk)
Hey there. My name is Matt and I am a second year PPE student at the University of Manchester. More pertinently, I also happen to be one of your Regional Coordinators for this year. I’ve been worked in a variety of roles with EYPUK for two years now. I also spent part of the summer in Tunisia, representing EYPUK at the 5th MedUni of the NSC of the Council of Europe. There, I developed an understanding for alternative organisational practices utilised across a variety of Mediterranean political organisations; I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned into practice! (Matthew.Caine@eypuk.co.uk)
Hi everyone, my name is Joseff and I will be one of the Regional Forums Coordinators this year. I currently study Philosophy and German at the University of Oxford but am originally from Cardiff. I have been with EYP since 2015 and have learned so much from my time here, meeting some amazing people along the way. I have been lucky to experience lots of aspects of EYP, working as Journalist, Chairperson and Head Organiser since September 2016 alone. I am really excited for the year ahead and am ready to help EYPUK develop further, ensuring that it remains the inclusive, positive and engaging organisation that it always has been. (Joseff.Reed@eypuk.co.uk).
Hi I’m Jamie, currently on a gap year and looking to study Politics and International Relations next year. As part of the communications team, alongside Natalie and Imogen, my aim this year is to support the output of all the other teams and make EYPUK more accessible in terms of communications and so if you’ve got any questions about EYP please email me directly! I began EYP last year, and I’ve had a fantastic experience so far – both in the UK and abroad and I’m looking forward to participating in more sessions this year. (Jamie.Arthur@eypuk.co.uk)
