In 2015, EYPUK’s outreach programme, EurVoice, was the recipient of the Charlemagne Youth Prize. We were very excited to have been successful in the UK round of the Charlemagne Youth Prize organised by the European Parliament. The UK jury of MEPs and a Youth representative found our project the overall UK winner. In July we were proud to show off the medal and certificate showcasing the hard work of the EurVoice team since the launch of the programme in 2011. The Charlemagne Youth Prize looks for projects that encourage European development and consciousness among young people. In the application we focused on the benefits that EurVoice gives to young people through the events we run. We worked hard on drafting and re-drafting in order that we really got to show off the good work we do every year in a number of locations across the UK.
