An EYPUK National Session runs over four days, and brings together over 140 delegates from 14 teams, one from each region of the United Kingdom selected at the Regional Forum.
The aim of the National sessions is to select a team to represent the United Kingdom at the International Session, to welcome new members to the EYPUK Alumni Association to help delegates build confidence and new skills in debating.
The session involves a wide-range of activities, from committee work and the General Assembly to team-building and even a fancy dress party.
The focus at the National session is not simply to select a team to represent the UK. Each delegate will engage with their fellow delegates, who have all come from different backgrounds and areas across the country, working together to discuss and reach a consensus on issues affecting them and the European Community as a whole.
