Sophie Woodward
PresidentHey! I’m Sophie (she/her), and I have the joy of presiding EYPUK this year. My EYP experience started somewhat unconventionally around three years ago; I’m here thanks to a poster advertising EYP in Brussels, our direct membership route and, overwhelmingly, the incredible people I met along the way. My favourite part of this organisation is working with new members, de-mystifying EYP and creating an environment where everybody feels welcomed and empowered… So please do get in touch if you’d like to get more involved, have any questions or just fancy a chat about EYPUK! Outside of EYP, I’m a second year French and German student at the University of Edinburgh, and can usually be found reading, hiking, or trying to justify doing more EYP sessions abroad. -
Teo Mewett
Regional Forum CoordinatorHello! My name is Teo, and it’s an absolute privilege to be one of this year’s Regional Coordinators, alongside Alba! In this role, I help oversee the organisation and delivery of all of our regional fora, whilst working with our incredible Head-Organisers and officials. I began EYP in 2024 with a very back-to-front means of joining… Since then, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to attend a number of events here in the UK, and I cannot wait to branch out further in Europe over the next year! Outside of EYP, I’m enjoying a post-A-Level gap year with lots of travelling, baking and flying my drone! -
Alba Tenesa Navarro
Regional Forum CoordinatorHey, I’m Alba! I’m one of the Regional Coordinators this year alongside Teo. I’m 18 and originally from Edinburgh, though I’ll soon be moving to Glasgow to study Law and Spanish. I first joined EYP in early 2024, and since then I’ve had the chance to take part as both a delegate and an official at sessions across the UK and abroad. I’m really looking forward to seeing what we get up to this year as a charity! -
Caroline Soppitt
Member Development OfficerHello! I’m Caroline (she/her) and I am this year’s Membership Development Officer. This role will see me organise social and training events throughout the year and support new and existing members to get the most out of EYP. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! I have been involved with EYP for around two years, and have found such a supportive community as well as countless opportunities to learn new skills and make friends. I can’t wait to see what the charity achieves this year! Outside of EYP, I am in my first year studying Maths and Spanish at St Andrews University and love playing the violin, going for walks and reading. Hope to see you at an EYP event soon! -
Ben Campbell
Communications CoordinatorHello! I’m Ben and I’m one of our Communications Coordinators for the 2025/26 term alongside Isaac. My journey with EYPUK started back in 2022 at one of our regional sessions, since then I have participated in several events in the UK and abroad. Additionally, during the last term, I held the position of Fundraising Officer. EYP is something I'm truly passionate about. I love what it's helped me achieve and hope to bring that passion to everything I do. Outside of EYP, I'm an avid cinephile; very, very afraid of heights; and a current Physics student at the University of Edinburgh. -
Isaac McAreavey
Communications CoordinatorHi, I'm Isaac McAreavey, one of the new Communications Organisers alongside Ben for this term on the EYPUK NC board. I’m looking forward to helping expand our social media presence, hopefully through consistent, high-quality posts and some novel ideas! I first took part in the Tromsø International Session, but for various reasons it took me a while to become fully engaged with EYP. Now I’ve come to my senses and am working hard to get as involved as possible - now through the NC - in an organisation that does so much good for youth empowerment! Outside of EYP, I’m in my final year at the University of York, studying Economics and Politics. I also play the bassoon and piano in several orchestras, which takes up most of my spare time. -
Rose Macdonald
Events OfficerHello! I’m Rose and I’ll be EYPUK’s Events Officer for 2025/26. I’m really looking forward to working with my fellow Exec Board Members to develop and expand on the events we run this year. Over the past two years, I have been very fortunate to experience the inspiring and enriching activities of EYPUK, and I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned. I’m truly excited for the chance to give back to this incredible community and to support the creation of these amazing opportunities for other young people. Outside of EYP, I’m studying Computer Science and Physics at the University of Edinburgh, but I’m also an avid cinema-goer, vintage shopper and badge maker! -

Molly Boulton
EurVoiceMy name is Molly (she/her) and I am the Trustee for EYPUK’s outreach programme, EurVoice. EurVoice aims to offer young people from less advantaged backgrounds the opportunity to develop their communication and critical thinking skills through free and inclusive forums across the UK. Each session allows the young people to discuss and debate issues that affect their local community and that are most important to them, as well as the chance to communicate with prominent local decision-makers and stakeholders. My role is to support the EurVoice co-ordinators in providing these events and increasing EurVoice’s outreach. Having been involved in this incredible organisation for over 6 years, I’ve seen first hand what an incredible impact Eurvoice has had on many young people, and I am excited to be part of the furthering of this important scheme.
